Our trip to DISNEYLAND!!

Disneyland

Well our trip started when Matt got off early from work on March 4th. He had the next four days off and wanted to get out of Vegas. So while he was driving home he called and booked a trip to Disneyland, all of this was with out me knowing. We had been talking about going for a while, but he likes the spur of the moment unplanned type of vacation, so that's what we did. He got home at 5:30pm and we were on the road by 7:15pm. It took us just under 4 hours to get there and boy oh boy was Andrew excited once we got there. It was around 11pm and he wanted to go to Disneyland right away, but we had to remind him that Mickey and Minnie go to sleep and that we could see them in the morning. He believed us so we were able to get to our room with out a tantrum. When we got in our room we found that we had a view overlooking California Adventure...that was really lucky because we paid for just a standard room and we had gotten an upgrade!!
We all had so much fun while we were there. Andrew fell in love with Star Wars, now he watches at least 2 of the movies a day. Allie had fun even though she was wearing her cast. She loved It's a Small World, I think that was her very favorite. Both of the kids freaked out when we went on the Haunted Mansion, but Matt and I wanted to go on that together so the kids just had to suffer through it. :) We had a character breakfast on Tuesday, Andrew loved seeing all of his favorite characters but Allie didn't like it at all. They put a red balloon on her highchair so that none of them would come up to her. We liked California Adventure and had a blast there too. We were sad to leave, even Matt and I wanted to stay, but we had to come back home to reality. I'm sure we will be going back there next year some time...the kids just have to much fun to not go back.
