...so I have been such a slacker!!! I have just been so tired and not feeling like blogging!! I'm jumping back in though, so no one will miss me any longer. :) We have do a lot this last month.
We went up to Mount Charleston to play in the snow. The kids LOVED it!! This was the first time they had ever seen snow and after a little coaxing they were making snowballs, sliding down hills on their bums, and even eating some snow. Allie even ate some with pine needles in it. Don't worry she spit it out!!
Then there was Christmas. That was great!! It's always so much fun to see the kids get so excited about all of the Christmas time stuff. Drew was watching google earth's Santa tracker ALL of Christmas Eve....he loved know exactly where he was. The kids were also very in to the REAL meaning of Christmas this year. Andrew even drew a picture of the nativity all by himself. He is such a great little boy!! Just the other day he told me his favorite scripture story was when Jesus was born...I thought that was so great. He is just growing up so quick.
On new years eve we put the kids to bed at the normal time, but then we woke them up to go and see the fireworks. It was FREEZING!!!! We thought we were the only ones with this bright idea but I guess not. There were like 200 other people parked where we were too. It was great, the kids loved it. It's not every day we want to wake them up in the middle of the night!!!
And just yesterday we went to Walking with Dinosaurs. Oh man was that amazing!!! We didn't tell Andrew because it was part of his birthday present, his birthday is next week. And he didn't have a clue where we were going. He finally figured it out when we were walking in side the Thomas and Mack and he saw all of the dinosaur stuff for sale. He was so excited, a little nervous but mostly excited. Both he and Allie loved it, the only part that got to them was the end when the T-Rex came out and started growling. She was so loud it even hurt my ears!! We had a great time though.
